Leigh Wach

Leigh Wach graduated with a degree in biology from Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, North Carolina in 1994. While at Lees-McRae, she also played college soccer where she was named an Academic All-American. After graduating from Lees-McRae, she enrolled at the University of Georgia and received her Masters degree in science education and obtained her Georgia teaching certification. Mrs. Wach began her teaching career at Parkview High School in August of 1995 teaching introductory biology and during her first seven years at Parkview, she also coached the junior varsity girls' soccer team and was the assistant coach for the varsity girls' team. Mrs. Wach earned an Ed.S. degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Alabama and she currently serves as the science department chair. She is married to Keith Wach who is the instructional technology specialist at Lorraine Elementary in Conyers, Georgia. She has two young children, Madison who is five and Landon who is one.
