ABOUT THE MEDIA CENTER

The media center has an on-line catalog and an automated circulation system. The catalog indexes approximately 15,000 books, videos, DVDs, and CD-ROMs that are housed in the media center. Forty-three networked student computer stations access the Internet as well as a variety of high-quality databases that enhance online learning. They include: online encyclopedias, full-text online magazine/newspaper databases, subject specific databases, as well as links to the Gwinnett County Public Library System, GALILEO, and the Georgia Career Information System. Please see the media staff for a list of passwords to use from home.

Additional resources include 3 newspapers, subscriptions to approximately 40 magazines and journals, and a satellite receiver for recording and broadcasting educational programs.
