Parkview PTSA (Parent, Teacher, Student Association) has always been a very active organization, always striving to do great things for its school, students, and teachers.  Our PTSA Membership numbers from 2007-2008 reflected the support of the Parkview parents, teachers, students, and community  who were all working together for students everywhere. Today more and more parents want to take an active role in their student’s education.  Being members of your PTSA gives parents a way to work together in partnership with the principal, faculty and staff members, and the school.  The PTA can also educate parents about their role in their student’s education, as well as school policies and procedures and the importance of working together to support the school’s rules, policies, and procedures.  Our PTSA membership goal this year is to involve even more parents, more teachers, and more students in Parkview’s PTSA.  An individual membership is $10 per person.

Please remember that each school has its own PTA or PTSA, called the Local Unit.  Joining a PTA at an elementary school does not automatically make you a member of Trickum’s PTSA or Parkview’s PTSA, only the PTA at the school you are joining.  In spite of the fact that our students are getting older and more independent, they still need the support of their parents and teachers.  We hope that you will take a moment and join the Parkview PTSA on Registration Day, August 9th.  You will receive your membership packet when Student Directories are ready for distribution in October.  You can make the difference in a child’s life, so please plan to join your PTSA.  As a member, you will make a difference!
