World History

The students of World History will explore the world before the time of written history up until current day.  Students often ask why we study history.

Winston Churchill: (who is he?)  "The farther back you can look, the farther forward you are likely to see."

Paul Harvey: (who is he?)  "In times like these, it is helpful to remember that there have always been times like these."

Abba Eban: (who is he?)  "History teaches us that men and nations behave wisely once they have exhausted all other alternatives."

Napoleon Bonaparte: (who is he?) "History is the version of past events that people have decided to agree upon."

Charissa Crook:  (who is she?)  "History is a story woven together by the eyes, hearts and minds of the observers of humanity.  For that reason, the past is dynamic."
