Welcome to APCS! Advanced Placement Computer Science is the class intended for gifted programmers. It is an intense class that teaches students to program complex Java programs. APCS can earn students credit for college assuming students pass the AP exam in May. APCS is a year long course, consisting of two semesters. At the beginning we work on simple programs as we learn the Java language. By the end of the year students will be building computerized battlebots with artificial intelligence. The class tends to be small, and fills up quick, so if you're interested in applying for APCS come talk to me right away! |
