I was born in Atlanta, Georgia.  I grew up in the Parkview community, attending Camp Creek Elementary, Trickum Middle School, and Parkview High School.  At Parkview, I played four years of basketball and softball.  I went on to the University of Georgia where I majored in mathematics education.  In college, I was active in Sigma Kappa Sorority. I am a huge UGA fan and enjoy attending football games in the fall.  I did my student teaching at Parkview and was hired as a first year teacher for the 2001-2002 school year.  This year will be my seventh year of teaching.  I will teach two classes of Honors Geometry and three classes of College Prep Algebra II.  I am also a Junior class Sponsor.  In my free time, I enjoy running, playing sports, spending time with family and friends, and going to the lake.  I love working with high school students and I am excited about another school year.
