Checklist for Success       

q       EVERYTHING I write on the overhead is important. COPY everything.

q       Review EVERYTHING I have written on the overhead the day before the test or quiz.

q       Homework is IMPORTANT. Work ALL suggested homework assignments.

q       Review ALL suggested homework assignments the day before the test or quiz.

q       ASK QUESTIONS about problems and concepts you do not understand.

q       Come in before school with problems and concepts you do not understand.

q       Check your solutions to your homework problems.

q       Use every minute in class thinking about or working problems.

q       Rework problems after you have finally understood the concept.

q       Work extra problems and check their answers.

q       Review and recopy notes at night, reworking sample problems to make sure you understand the concept.

q       Form a study group to work on problems.

q       Minimize absences from class. The benefits of class discussion are unsurpassed.

q       In the event of an unavoidable absence, ask for class notes from a fellow student or the teacher.
