Welcome Parents to Mrs. Roy's House of History!  Our classroom is open to anyone who wishes to visit anytime.  Please let me know when you would like to visit a class period and I will make the necessary arrangements through the front office.  

          Our classroom is a place where students and I will discuss World History and our place in that context.  Whether AP, Honors, Gifted, or College Preparatory level your student will be taught valuable critical thinking skills, tools for writing effectively, and the power of positive thinking.  Each day will be filled with discussions, projects, or skill building activities.  We will engage in a number of technological projects and assignments as well.  There will be a reading assignment almost every night.  I understand just how involved your student is in activities here at PHS and I encourage that.  However, the academics come first and foremost and I expect each student to stay current on reading, assignments, and information.  This can easily be done through the use of this website. 

          Should you like to email me about your student's grade please use the school email address because my grade book is here on the server.  My home email address is posted for my students to email me each weekday evening until 8 PM with homework questions.  I will make myself available before and after school for any student to talk or study with me, all I ask is for them to set up an appointment and keep it!
