Extra Credit Opportunities
If you find one of our vocabulary words in another source (magazine or newspaper articles, advertisements, novels, movies or TV shows, etc.), bring in the sentence and source and get ONE bonus point for each word.
 | You may find each word more than once, and you will still get extra credit. |
| You can also bring in vocabulary words you hear in movies or on television. You just need to write down the sentence, the name of the movie or TV show, and the date you heard it. |
| This offer excludes Parkview-issued textbooks and printouts from the Internet. |
| You may get extra credit if your teacher uses a word, if you write down the sentence and have the teacher sign the paper. However, you will NOT get credit if your friends or family members use our words. |
| There is a limit of 30 bonus points from vocabulary words per semester. |
